The City of Oak Ridge Youth Advisory Board serves as a liaison between the Oak Ridge City Council and the youth of the community on matters affecting the youth. The purpose of the Board is to assist in minimizing community problems relating to youth, and to encourage positive growth and development of youth by involving them in healthy, enlightening, empowering, social, cultural, and recreational activities that shall be drug and alcohol-free. Youth Career Fair – April 25th

The City Youth Advisory Board is hosting a Summer Jobs & Career Fair for Teens at Oak Ridge High School on Wednesday, April 25th from 2pm-4pm. Businesses that have volunteer or paid jobs available for teens in the summer, or that want to promote career decisions for students are encouraged to register for a vendor table. There is no fee to participate. A provider form is attached.

Battle of the Bands – April 27th (6pm-9pm) – Civic Center (Paradox Teen Center – If poor weather forecasted)

Graduation Celebration – May 31st (10pm-6am) – Civic Center
